Phool Kumari bakes magic with an extra embellishment of beautiful flowers! I got introduced to Phool Kumari through Instagram posts and made the first order (Carrot, Cinnamon, and Walnut dry cake) on my 30th Birthday. And it was one of the best dry cakes I have ever had. Spongy, the right amount of moist and sugar levels. I repeated the order for one of dearest friend's birthday with less sugar and it was again a DELIGHT and a beautiful birthday gift! Recently, placed an order for a Salted Caramel Cake and it was just amazingly delicious. Also, the delivery is made very diligently. The cake reaches in perfectly amazing condition despite me placing an order from one corner of the city!

Run by an extremely friendly host, who will not only be prompt with your order but will also guide you in placing your order, so that you get exactly what you are looking for. She has everything from gluten free cookies (which we have tried and loved!) to chocolate truffle cake (which my 4 year old literally finished in one go!). The prices are reasonable and the products are freshly baked. Go for this without a second thought!
Phool Kumari Bakes is a home bakery run by Devika Menon. With over 3 years of experience working with non-profits, and a Master's degree in International Development, Devika decided to switch careers in 2016 and foray into food!
She realised that working with food had become her calling, and more importantly, her reason for being. She initially learnt the ropes with an established Delhi restaurant, and then went on to manage an artsy, minimalist cafe. After prancing around in these spaces, she decided to take the jump, and started Phool Kumari Bakes in May 2019.
Phool Kumari Bakes is a business with a difference. With a philosophy to empower women through the kitchen, Phool Kumari has an all women kitchen in place. Guided by the ethics of fair pay, fixed working hours, and an exciting workspace conducive to dancing and serenades, Phool Kumari, like the name suggests, is a happy bakery, guided by joyfulness!
